    Elisabeth Crooijmans (1885-1918) was een religieuze afkomstig uit de Vlierden. Ze kreeg haar kloosternaam zuster Maria Fulgentia bij de zusters van Orthen.

    Elisabeth was een dochter van de landbouwer Johannes Croijmans (1847-1912) en Johanna van Bussel (1859-1891). Het gezin woonde in Vlierden. Haar moeder overleed al op de leeftijd van 32 jaar. Elisabeth was toen zes jaar oud. Zelf zou Elisabeth ook niet ouder worden dan 32 jaar.

    Ze deed haar intrede op 14 november 1907 in de congregatie van de zusters van Orthen. De eeuwige gelofte legde ze af op 21 december 1910.
