Mrs. Jennie Nobel, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jan Gritters, was born in Diever, the Netherlands On December 3, 1880. At the age of seventeen she came to America with her parents and two brothers and five sisters, all of whom preceded her in death.their married life were spent on a farm near Hull. They then moved to Matlock where they resided until the year 1915 when they moved to a farm in the Rock Valley area. his wife to care for their five small children.enry, passed away in 1945 and a son, John, died in 1952. One grandson also preceded her in death. Two daughters, Magdalena (Mrs Pete Van Otterloo) and Rose (Mr. Hernan Van Ottertoo), as well as twentygrandchildren and thirty-nine great grandchildren survive to mourn her passing.zenboom officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased. Interment was in Hope Cemetery at Hull, Iowa.
