Grandma Gritters Passed Away Tues.ry 10th, 1941, passed away at her home in the east part of Hull on Monday morning, March 17th, at about six o'clock, Mrs. Gritters had been in fairly good health up untill about two months ago when she fell and suffered injuries to one of her legs.Rev. A. Cammenga and Rev. Martin Gritters officiating. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery.and died at Hull, Iowa, on March 17, 1941, having reached the age of 94 years, 2 months and 7 days.ildren were born, two preceding their mother in death: Ruth (Mrs. Thys Post) who died on July 7, 1922, and Egbert Gritters, who died on September 3, 1937.and settled near Boyden where they lived for one year. Later moving to a farm near Hull. In 1900 Mr. and Mrs. Gritters moved to the place in the east part of Hull where Mrs. Gritters lived up to the time of her death. Mr. Gritters died on April 1923.ie (Mrs. Andrew Brummel), and Minnie (Mrs. Ralph A. Brunsting), all of Hull. She also leaves 48 grandchildren and 104 great grandchildren, and a sister who resides in the Netherlands.as a kind and loving mother, and a fine Christian lady. She will be missed by all her large family and by those who knew her, and the Index joins in extending sympathy tot them in their bereavement.Sioux County Index 1941-03-21.
