   Frank Brantner was born in 1896. He was the ninth of thirteen children born to George and Agnes (Risler) Brantner. His parents were natives of Austria, immigrating to the US in 1881 and settling in Lima township where Frank was born and grew up on the family farm. 

   @1920 he was married to Emma Pichler. They had eleven children and lived in Albany township. He passed away in 1986.

   He was survived by wife, Emma Brantner; daughters, Isabelle Werlein, Lucy Berger, Dorothy Moen, and Donna Carothers; sons, Awald Brantner, Frank Brantner and Levern Brantner; sisters, Mrs. Agnes Berger, Mrs. Barbara Isham, Mrs. Mary Brunner and Mrs. Clara Kothbauer; and brother, Edward Brantner.

   He was preceded in death by sons, Adolph Brantner in 1931, and Hubert Brantner; daughters, Erma Brantner in 1924, and Bernice Brantner; father, George Brantner in 1914; mother, Agnes Brantner in 1937; brothers, John Brantner in 1930, Leopold Brantner in 1982, George Brantner in 1980, Charles Brantner in 1972; and sisters, Theresa Kees in 1970; Julia Weiss in 1984, and Lizzie Weiss in 1981.
