Landbouwer op de boerderij gebouwd in 1773 in de drooggemalen Eendragtspolder aan de Rotte.

De eerste ballonvaart in Nederlandt:
"In de achttiende eeuw werden in Zevenhuizen verschillende plassen drooggemalen en ontstonden er polders. Eén hiervan was de Eendrachts¬polder. De Kavels 35 en 36 van deze polder, samen groot ruim 27 morgen werden voor "twee duizend zeven guldens en tien stuivers" in 1773 gekocht door Frederik Strijdhorst. Hij werd de eerste landbouwer op dit land en liet hierop een boerderij bouwen. De oorspronkelijke boerderij werd inmiddels vervangen door een andere op dezelfde plaats, genaamd de Morgenster en gelegen aan de Vlietkade no. 5 te Zevenhuizen.
Frederik Strijdhorst was getrouwd met Adriaantje Duynkerken, uit welk huwelijk 5 kinderen volwassen werden.
De oudste hiervan was Anna geboren op 2 november 1764.
Vrij kort na elkaar overleden de beide ouders, Adriaantje in 1781 en Frederik in 1784. Omdat de kinderen nog minderjarig waren, werden door de schout en schepenen van Zevenhuizen enkele voogden benoemd. Anna
trouwde op 4 april 1785 met Johan Paulus . Zo wordt de Pruis, die als huursoldaat of hannekemaaier vanuit Greifenberg naar de Nederlanden is gekomen, landbouwer te Zevenhuizen op de boerderij van Frederik Strijdhorst. De tapperij die Frederik dreef naast zijn beroep als landbouwer werd door Johan Paulus niet voortgezet."
