Genealogy Online and Family Archivist are two services of Coret Genealogie. They complement each other. You use them with the same account.
On Genealogy Online you publish your family tree from a GEDCOM file. The data of deceased persons is public. Anyone can find it through Google. That is how namesakes and other researchers find you, and how you find matches with other family trees. Genealogy Online is for the facts: who, when, where.
On Family Archivist you keep photos, documents and stories. The archive is private. Only family members you invite can get in. They can respond and add material themselves. Family Archivist is for the story behind the facts, and for the conversation with the family.
Link your family archive to your publication on Genealogy Online. Then in the archive you can click the persons from your family tree with every photo. And the public page of your archive shows a link to your family tree.
