Is grandpa in a photo? Then you can link his name in the description to his page in your family tree on Genealogy Online. Anyone who clicks the name sees at once who he was, when he lived and how he is related.
Your family archive must be linked to your publication on Genealogy Online. As archivist you arrange that once via Genealogy Online in the management menu.
Participants can link persons too. So a family member can note with a photo: "This is my mother", with a link to her page.
By default you can only link to persons who are public in your publication. Have you set an access gate on Genealogy Online? Then you can also link living persons.
