Andrew Campbell, 82, of Morrisdale died Friday, June 29, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lorena Bourgof in Hopatang, N. J. He had a severe heart condition for several months.

Born at Loch Fitty, Beath Parish, Fife, Scotland, January 4, 1870, he was a son of Alex Campbell. The deceased moved to this country when he was 17 years old and worked in the mines near Morrisdale. He was a member of the original soccer football team there. For 20 years he worked as janitor at the Morris Township High School. His wife, Mary Mate Fowler, preceded him in death 10 years ago.

He is survived by four sons, Alex, Morrisdale; Samuel and William, Philadelphia and James, Detroit, Michagen., and by a daughter, Mrs. Lorena Bourgof, Hopatang, N. J. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the home of his son, Alex, in Morrisdale from this afternoon and until time of the services on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Services will also be held at the Morrisdale Methodist Church on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Michael Hammond officiating. Burial will be in the Emigh Cemetery.
