Notes about Alexander Campbell

1. Birth record of Andrew Campbell in 1870 records his parents Alexander and Isabella marry on 25th November 1851

2. Cant find death of Alexander Campbell after 1881 Census.

3. Cant find birth of Margaret Campbell. Her death record records her parents as David Campbell and Ann Smith

4. 1851 Census head of family James Rattray married to Elizabeth Campbell. Alexander Campbell is in house recorded as Brother in Law to head. His mother named as Ellen Campbell, not Annie, is recorded as being mother in law to James Rattray.

5. Cant find birth of Alexander Campbell.

6. Ancestry records his parents as being George Campbell and Margaret Melville

7. I have recorded Alexander Campbell as being son of David Campbell and Annie Smith, as in the 1851 Census he is brother in law to James Rattray, who is married to Margaret Campbell. Margarets mother recorded as Mother in law of James Rattray, Ellen Campbell, not Annie

8. A record in Geni has Alexanders daughter, Ann Smith Campbell, b. 28 Feb 1861, as being daughter of Alexander Campbell and Isabella Reid, the record also indicates that Isabella dies in 1912, which is incorrect as she is deceased when her son David, marries a second time to Catherine Baxter in 1893, and also in his third marriage record in 1901 to Harriet Bell.
This indicates to me that the record is incorrect! Also in the record Alexanders parents are recorded being George Campbell and Margaret Melville. (as note 6 above)
I need a death or a birth record for Alexander, which I cant find!
