Notes about Alison Skinner

1. Probable mother

2. Widow in 1851 census

3. 1851 census in Ancestry lists James Rattray, Mary Rattray and Thomas Rattray only.
Scotlands People, gives same as Find my Past. Margaret or Mary Rattray, wife of head of family, and Ellen Campbell.
Ellen is recorded incorrectly. She is Mary's Grandmother.

4. Alison's death record in 1852 names her as Helen, rather than Alison. This may, or may not be her death record, the fact that her age of 83 fits in with the 1851 census age 81, and also she records her name as Ellen in that census, and Eleanor in 1841 Census!
