2. Could be that Ross Building was named after John Ross, originator of Gothenburg Society, (See media).
Kelty Gothenburg Society Building is now No 1 Goth, at Kelty Cross. Was Dad born here, or is there another Ross Building?

3. A newspaper clipping - from the Scotsman, 22nd April 1929, states that Ross Buildings, were in Lindsay Road, Kelty. Lindsay Row was situated accross the road from the access to Hilton Farm. The Lindsay Pit was in the same area.

4. Postcode KY4 0BL (from ????PROPERTY WEBSITE????) shows that Ross Building is further East on Station Road.

5. Lunn name introduced .................... the marriage of William Lunn, to Agnes Reid, decided William Lunn Harrower, b 1926, middle name, and also his Uncles and Aunts. Dad didn't know this!!!!

6. Detective Constable William Harrower, of Dunfermline, has been promoted uniformed Sergeant in Cowdenbeath. Since joining Fife Constabulary at Cupar in 1949, Sergeant Harrower has served at Burntisland and Dunfermline, the last six years with the C.I.D. Born in Kelty, he was raised in the Methil and Buckhaven area, starting his working life as an apprentice butcher with G. W. Douglas, of Leven. After a spell with Buckhaven Co-Operative Society, he spent three years in The Scots Guards. He then became a member of the Buckingham Palace guard, leaving in 1948 with the rank of sergeant. A married man with a 15 year-old son, Sergeant Harrower lives at 21 Aberdour Crescent, Dunfermline.
