Notes about Samuel Abraham Shaynkin

SSN: 053-03-2406
He filled an SSN application and signed it on Dec 14 1936. The application is full of spelling mistakes and even the letter N is not written correctly.
He writes:
Name: Samuel A. Shaynkin
Address: 221 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY
Employer: Esak Goodman, 527 Nostrand Ave., Brooklyn, NY
Born: 12 Sept 1887 (now 49)
Father: Abroham Shaynkin
Mother w/maiden name: "I don't remember"

There is apparently no record of him in the Ellis Island immigration database. I believe he is brother to Hirsch and Mendel (e.g. his father Abraham is the same as their father Abraham). But this needs to be verified.

In his death certificate, his death date is written as 6 Jul 1988 but his birth date is written as 12 Apr 1892.

There is a Florida death record of him, that says death date is 6 Jul 1988, and birth date is 11 Aug 1889. Died at Dade County, Florida. No image available. Found on Ancestry under Samuel Shaynkin.
Samuel A. Shaynkin appears in Manhattan, NY city directory of 1959. Address is 568 Grand. Then it says YUkon 2-3129 which could be the phone number. The exact same thing appears also in 1960 directory.

My bet is that the A. middle name stands for Abraham, his father's first name.

There is a naturalization paper for a Samuel Shaynkin, petition no. 32821, admitted 12-11-24. Image doesn't add any additional value.

In World War II Draft Registration Card for Samuel Abraham Shaynkin
(1942) we have:
Name: Samuel Abraham Shaynkin
Residence: 8831 St. Hamilton Pkway, Brooklyn, NY
Telephone: none
Age: 51
Birth: Sept 12 1890
Place of birth: Ukraine, Russia
A person who will always know your address:
Brother Henry Shaynkin, St. Marks Avenue, Brooklyn
Samuel has his own business, its address is 391 Fulton St., Brooklyn, NY
He signs it Samuel A. Shaynkin just like he filled his SSN.

I have not found him in any census nor any immigration. This is very strange.

Note that I have not found Samuel's immigration to the USA. I do not know if he and Lottie had any children. Or if he had former wives. I don't know where he's buried. There are a lot of gaps about Samuel.
