Notes about Pieter Nijborg

Pieter Nijborg en Trijntje van den Berg woonden in 1937 aan de Zuidlaarderweg 26 en een jaar later aan de Zuidlaarderweg 28 in Annen, inwonend bij hun (schoon)ouders. In 1977 verhuizen ze naar Haren. In augustus 1933 en juni 1934 zijn kenteken D8965 respectievelijk D 9420 op Pieters naam geregistreerd. Het gaat hier om vrachtauto’s, die door Pieter van zijn vader zijn overgenomen. Ook de in opdracht van Arend Nijborg in 1933 herbouwde woning aan de Zuidlaarderweg 28 in Annen werd zijn
eigendom. De auto met kenteken D 9420 is overigens in december 1949 overgeschreven op naam van zijn dorpsgenoot, de schipper en brandstofhandelaar Harm Kuipers. Trijntje is zoals eerder vermeld in oktober 1941 bedreigd en mishandeld door haar schoonvader Arend Nijborg, die als weduwnaar kort daarvoor was hertrouwd, hetgeen tot een onverkwikkelijke rechtszaak voor de politierechter leidde. Er werd twee maanden detentie tegen Arend geëist. Het conflict had te maken met boedelscheiding.
