I just noticed that my files are sorely out of date. I have many more dates
and have put none of my sources in yet. This is not what I like to do most.
I love the searching part.

However, I firmly believe that these are all of the children of Caleb Spivey,
Sr. and Elizabeth Powell. I have several deeds where all the heirs signed.
And all of the children belonged to this Elizabeth dau of Jacob. You will
note by the birth date that the two are not even the same person. And I
worked long and hard on this family.

Did I send you a copy of an original deed for Edmond Spivey that has the
names of his wife and children on the back of the deed? They were not
included in the deed that was recorded in the courthouse in Robeson Co. A
friend of mine had the original in a bunch of his papers. Not even his
family but part of a chain of title to a piece of property in HIS family.
What a streak of luck! I couldn't believe my eyes. And he just wanted me to
look over some of his papers. I was helping him on his research. As far as
I know that is the only document to name Edmond's children.

I will try to work on my files and hopefully get them in better order.
