Jonathan did not own land in Andover, and his name appears only on thebirth records of Andover. He is believed to have moved to South Carolinaabout 1695. Jonathan was a large land owner, and lived on a plantationcalled "Cainboy" near the Wando River in South Carolina. his wife's namewas Elizabeth; she may have been a daughter of Robert Daniel.
