John was a weaver by trade; he sold his last 50 acres of land in ANdoveron Mar. 10, 1699 (Essex Co., Mass., Land Deed Bk 21, p 36-37). On Aug.13, 1705 John was living on a plantation owned by his brother, Jonathan,near the Wendo River, South Carolna (SC Land Records, Bk 1707-11 p 149).No records have been found identifying this family, there indicationsJohn and Hannah (Ross) Russ had children.
