Vertrekt op 5 november 1909 vanuit ouderlijk huis (in de Spuistraat Wijk 4, nr. 17 (geboren)naar Amsterdam, woonde in Koog a/d Zaan (tante Agaath geboren 1913) komt op 13 juni 1914 in Edam terug uit Velsen samen met Alida Trijntje IJkel en dochter Alida Agatha en gaat op de Bult wijk 4, nr. 94 wonen, vervolgens Jan van Wallendalplein, Wijk 2, nr. 132, Schepenmakersdijk, Wijk 1, nr. (129) 148.

Notarisklerk Gerrit Willem de Graaf, wonende te Edam is mondeling gemachtigde van de heren Louis Schoorl en Bernhard Doorn. Laatstgenoemde is getrouwd met de zuster van Hendrik (Aaltje van Essen)
Sluit op 24 mei 1923 een hypothecaire lening af bij Jan de Graaf te Edam ter waarde van f 1000,-- met als onderpand Schepenmakersdijk 9.
Sluit op 26 juni 1930 een hypothecaire lening af bij Jan de Jong, Corneliszoon te Edam ter waarde van f 1600,-- met als onderpand Schepenmakersdijk 9.
Wanneer Hendrik met zijn gezin uit Velsen terug naar Edam komt, vestigt ook het gezin van Bernhard Doorn zich in Edam op het Jan van Nieuwenhuizenplein, wijk 3 nr. 25. (vrouw Aaltje van Essen en dochters Alida, Cornelia, zoon Richardus Theodorus en dochter Henriette).
