The burial records for Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa list:
Eliza Teeple Arnold (1845 - 30 Dec 1924)
*****
“I accept as proof positive that my Grandmother Eliza Arnold was in fact born Eliza Teeple. She was married to my Grandfather Asahel Perry Arnold, and passed away at
age of 80 or 81 years in 1924 or 1925. My mother told me that Eliza was a few years older, one or two, than Grandfather Asa, had nursed him through several years of
illness, then died in her sleep one night. Asa lived on for 30 days after and died at one of their daughters’ homes. They made their home on a part-dairy farm near Waukon, IA.”
