Know all men by these presents, that we Hiram Brand of the town of Charlestown and
Hannah Brand his wife of the same, Hiram Brand, in consideration of the sum of Sixty dollars
money of account of the United States, in his had paid by John Dwelly of the town and county of
Schoharie, the receipts whereof and hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold and
quit claimed, and by these presents do bargain, sell and quit claim unto the said John Dwelly, and
to his heirs and assigns forever, all our and each of our rights, title, interest, estate, claim and
demise, both at law and in equity, and as well in possession as in equity(?) of in and to all those
certain farms or pieces of land, situated in the town and county of Schoharie aforesaid, Viz: Lot
No. Three in the stone heap patent and considered as follows, beginning at the south west corner
of Lot number two, and runs south 48º 30" east twenty five chains and ninety four links to a
stake. Thence south 41º 20" east thirty eight chains and fifty five links to a hemlock tree. Thence
north 48º 30" east twenty five chains and ninety four links to a stake. Thence north 41º 20" west
thirty eight chains and fifty five links to the place of Beginning. Containing one hundred acres of
land, and also all that certain other lot, containing seventeen acres of land, and lying in the said
patent and south west of the above described lot No. Three and bounded on the west by the lands
of Beriah Crocker, on the south by the lands of Joseph Crocker on the North by lands of
Abraham Montanye. The interest and estate hereby conveyed is the one twelfth part of all the
land originally owned by George Teeple, and which the said Hannah Brand inherits as one of his
heirs, with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances there unto belonging, In witness
whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this twentieth day of June in the year one
thousand eight hundred and thirty one.

Schoharie County I certify that on the 20 day of June 1 th 831, personally appeared before me
Hiram Brand and Hannah his wife the within grantors to me well known to be the persons
described in and who executed the within deed, and the said Hiram acknowledged that he
executed the with in deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, and the said Hannah
being examined privately, and apart from her said husband, acknowledged that she executed the
within deed, freely and without any fear or compulsion form her said husband finding no material
erasure or interlineations, except those noted, Let the same be recorded.
