Jacob Adriaensz. Geboren Dordrecht 1562, aldaar overleden 26 september 1609. Gehuwd met Maria Carré (overleden 8 oktober 1613) uit een patriciërsfamilie in het graafschap Namen. Hij werd 2 maart 1599 waardijn van de Munt. In 1596 door de prins tot acht van Dordrecht gekozen, raad in 1603-04, penningmeester van de Alblasserwaard en schepen in 1607-08. Zijn zoon Adriaen V volgde hem op als waardijn.
