1879, 20 mei, vestiging als hulponderwijzer te Wildervank, Veendam, Gr., komende uit Dokkum;
1879, 20 sep., met groot (militair) verlof;
1881, 5 mei, met paspoort wegens geëindigde militiediensttijd. Bewijs van goed gedrag;
1881, 12 maart, vestigt zich als onderwijzer te Oldeboorn, Utingeradeel, komende uit Wildervank;
1883, 18 aug, vertrek naar Schier, benoemd tot hoofd der lagere school te Schiermonnikoog;
1891-1893 diaken der NH kerk op Schiermonnikoog.

·ÄúIn 1873 was de school nog vacant, maar in 1874 werd G. Boland benoemd als hoofd van deze
school. In 1877 werd hij opgevolgd door E. Havinga. In 1881 kwam A. Zwanenburg, die in
1883 werd opgevolgd door Frederik Hendrik Gasau. Hij ging in 1922 met pensioen en is op
76-jarige leeftijd te Leeuwarden overleden op 3 juli 1932.
