1795 de Heer van Twickel verkoopt het erve de Helmer onder Usselo aan Hendrik en Gijsberta Hoedemaker. (zijn dit vader en dochter?) Later is het Helmer overgegaan op Ds. Hendrik ter Kuile, haar zoon.
