Op 8-7-1684 verminderde het water door de grote droogte. Door hem is telkens door de schoot van het Verlaat zoveel water in de polder gelaten tot het zomerpeil, niet hoger als 2,5 en nooit 3 duim. Op 8 en 9-7-1684 heeft ambachtsbewaarder Huijbert Cornelisz Boer door de schoot van het Verlaat enig water ingelaten tot het op een egale hoogte was gekomen. Het peil is boven 1,5 duim geweest...

Als hij eerst sterft krijgt Maghteltje een portie gelijk aan een kindsdeel. Als zij als eerste sterft is Dirck haar enige erfgenaam. Er worden voorwaarden gesteld voor onderhoud en opvoeding van de kinderen. De weeskamer wordt uitgesloten. De langstlevende wordt als voogd benoemd.
