From the Charleston Daily Mail newspaper, abt November 25, 1966: (Photograph of couple) ENTER GOLDEN YEARS Oben house will be observed from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lydia Robson Presbyterian Church, 29th Street, W, at Fifth Avenue honoring Mr. and Mrs. Kelsey W. Butler of 943 Woodward Dr., as they celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. She is the former Miss Clara Snoke of Toledo, Ohio, and he is a retired maintenance foreman with 42 years service at Owens-Illinois Glass Co. They are parent of six children, Mrs. Alta White of Raleigh, NC; Mrs. Alberta Reynolds of Circleville, Ohio; Mrs Mary Ewing of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Julia Hill, M. F. Butler and Curtis Butler, all of Charleston. they aslo have 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mother died before 1900. Raised by Aunt: Julia Anna Marie Petee (Aunt

June) and Uncle: George Hogle in Toledo, Oh., Lucas Co. Lived on
Manhattan Blvd.

"Mrs. Clara Agnes Butler, 76, of 941 Woodward Drive, died Saturday at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a 56 year resident of Charleston and a member of the Lydia Robson Presbyterian Church. Surviving: husband, Kelsey; sons, M. F. (Sonny) and Curtis W., both of Charleston; daughters, Mrs. Mary Beth Ewing of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Alberta Reynolds of Circleville, Ohio, Mrs. Julia Hill of Charleston and Mrs. Alta White of Raleigh, NC. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the J. E. Johnson Funeral Home in Kanawha City with the Rev. Jacob S. MacKorell Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Moutain Memory Gardens. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Heart Fund. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today."

"Sonny" and Curtis W., both of Charleston; daughters, Mrs Mary Beth Ewing of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Alberta Reynolds Circleville, Ohio, Mrs. Julia Hill of Charleston and Mrs. Alta White of Raleigh, N. C.; 20 grandchildren grandchildren. and nine great- Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the J. E. Johnson Funeral Home in Kanawha City with the Rev. Jacob S. MacKorell Jr. officiating.
