Nou op 11.9.1763, trou Pastor Dreyer se kleinseun, JAD se derde seun, Thomas Frederik, ged. 24.8.1727, d. 8.5.1873, met Christina Frank, geb 12.4.1733, die dogter van Johannes Franke, or Francke, van Berlin, b. 1686 (sy moeder was Anna Blankenberg), d. 1743.* Hierdie Johannes Franke kom na die Kaap as ‘n soldaat en begin hier ‘n besigheid as skoenmaker in 1713, dieselfde jaar as wat that Johannes Augustus Dreyer (dieselfde Johann Augustinus van die Biographie) hier arriveer.
