Hij verwierf, mogelijk door zijn huwelijk met Margriet van Delen, het goed Malckenhorst, terwijl zijn tweede vrouw het goed Emeler (Eemlaer) inbracht. Gerichtsman te Barneveld. Raad van Hertog Reinald. Hij krijgt van hertog Arnold in 1430 het goed Buitenhuis te Voorthuizen. Hij bezit de helft van Brieler. In de Kroniek van Barneveld wordt in 1435 ene Johan van Domselaer genoemd als gebruiker van de goede tot Malkenhorst, dat Rijques van Malkenhorst te wesen placht, dat een horig goed te wesen placht. Johan werd begraven in de Oude kerk te Barneveld in graf nr. 9 (oude Jan).

t-size: 12px;">JOHAN VAN DOMSELER, ovl. na 14-3-1452, gerichtsman te Barneveld 1433-1452, peinder aldaar (o.a. 1434), bezweert de verbondsbrief van 1436, krijgt op 4-9-1436 de belofte van Jan van Koet het goed Otelerbinnen vier maanden op te leveren en verkrijgt van hem de bediening van het ambt Doornspijk, beleend met het Stichtse leen de tienden van het goed Bryler en Schoonhorst als leenvolger van zijn vader (1425), vernieuwt de eed 11-3-1434, krijgt op 1-8-1430 met zijn vrouw van hertog Arnold van Gelre het goed Buitenhuis in het kerspel Voorthuizen, buurschap Harselen, dat vroeger horig was als vrij en riddermatig voor hem en zijn kinderen uit zijn tweede huwelijk, wordt met zijn goed Schoonderbeek in 1435 van de schatbaarheid ontslagen, wordt met zijn halve goed Bryler in 1436 van de horigheid gevrijd waarbij het tot tynsgoed wordt gemaakt, lid van de ridderschap van Veluwe 1436,[51] tr. 2o [52] MECHTELD VAN EMELER, tr. 1o [53]
