Beleend met het goed Brieler als leenopvolger van Ghise van Bryler, met wiens dochter hij gehuwd was. Evert verkoopt in 1387 8 morgen land en koopt 16 mrg land bij Schothorst.In 1425 werd zijn zoon Johan (mogelijk door zijn huwelijk met Margriet van Deelen) beleend met het Stichtse Leen van het goed Byler en Schoonhorst als leenopvolger van zijn vader Evert Lubberts van Domseler. Evert Lubberts is de oudste van Domseler die voorkomt in het laatste kwart van de 14de eeuw. De van Domselers namen een vooraanstaande plaats in het ambt Barneveld. Zij traden op als gerichtsman, peinder, schout, kerkmeester en heemraad. Half Barneveld en een groot deel van de Veluwe mocht tot hun bezit gerekend worden. Tevens behoorde tot hun bezittingen het huis Domseler in Overlangbroek bij Wijk bij Duurstede.

Half Barneveld en een groot deel van de Veluwe mocht tot de bezittingen worden gerekend zoals de (land)goederen en erven Brielaar en Schoonhorst, Emelaar, Otelaar, Schoonderbeek, Malkenhorst, Buitenhuis en Uddel en later nog Estveld, Rootselaar, Twiller en de Schaffelaar. Tot de bezittingen van het geslacht "van Domseler" behoorde ook het huis DOMPSELAER.
