Social Security Number: 095-16-7884

I have enlistment papers, death certificate, and natualizaton papers. He was 5 foot 5 3/4 inches tall.

Francesco entered this country in his early teens. He enlisted in the U. S. Army August 5, 1918, when he was 23. Frank received Basic Training at Yaphank Long Island and then assigned to Battery C, 26th Field Artillery at Camp McClellan, Alabama. While at this station on the 22nd of October 1918, was presented with a Certificate of Naturalization and a honorable discharge.

I never knew him since he abandand my grandmother when my mom was 7.

We were told he was an ice delivery man. The 1930 and 1940 census confirm this.
