Chester Koops

OSBORNE Chester Koops, 81, Osborne, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003.
Mr. Koops was born June 26, 1921, at Smith County. He was a farmer.
His wife, Viola, died in 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Don of Osborne and Bob of Downs; a daugher, Sherri Eakin of Osborne; three brothers, Bert of Downs, Allen of Cawker City and Alvin J. of Denver; four sisters, Eileen Tanis, Rose Nyhoff, Carol Koops and Joyce Koops, all of Downs; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Dispatch Christian Reforemed Church, Downs. Burial will be in Dispatch Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Dispatch Church Elevator Fund, the Bible League and Osborne County Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Domoney Funderal Home, 817 Morgan, Downs 67437.
