ADEMA, Susan, age 81 of 1012 Liberty St., Lynden, passed away in a local rest home Sunday, Jan. 11th, (1958) following a brief illness. Mrs. Adema was born in The Netherlands and had been a resident of the Lynden area since 1926. She was a member of the First Christian Reform Church.

She leaves to survive 3 sons, Simon of Lakewood, California; Henry of Seattle; Hilbert of Long Beach; 5 daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Van Leeuwen of Lynden, Mrs. Agnes Schultz of Custer, Mrs. Harriet Bull and Mrs. Johanna Zweegman, both of Bellingham; Mrs. Betty Van Ry of Seattle; 22 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the First Christian Reform Church January 15 at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Reinsma officiating.
