1901 aged 5, living near the Church, Post Office, Upper Gravenhurst with parents, Reuben and Adeline Parrish, and siblings.

1911 aged 15, living at Gravenhurst, Ampthill with parents, Reuben and Adeline Parrish, widowed great uncle Thomas Parrish, and seven siblings.

Dorcas, always known as Doll, was born in Gravenhurst in 1896. She never married. For a
time in the 1930s she lived at New Farm, Streatley with her sister Winifred and some of her
brothers, but in 1938 she came to live at Cart's Farm where she stayed for the rest of her
life. Again with Winifred and her second husband, Arthur Young. She worked in the Luton
hat factory of Leslie Hart in Guildford Street, and went into the town every day
on the bus. Her life was quite uneventful. She died at Cart's Farm in 1967 aged 71.
