1891 aged 16, living at 6 Red Lion Street, St Andrew & St George, Holborn, Middlesex in the employment of cheesemonger and poulterer Samuel Palmer 51 and family.

1911 aged 35, living in a three roomed dwelling at 3 Bedfordbury, West Strand, St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex with her children Dorothy 10, Cyril 8, William 8, Edith 4 and Leonard 1. Married for 11 years, but husband not at home, he was a patient at the Charing Cross Hospital where he probably died shortly after the census was taken, and Salome was left with five children.
