Notes about June Elanor Baker

Ref#: 6-B

Married to James E. Allen, William L. Finlay & Frederick John Riehl.

When June was a small child living with her father at Ft. Stevens, General Pershing made a visit to the post. June was there with her mother and father. The General, who liked children, picked June up and tossed her in the air, and June then threw up all over him.

June graduaged from St. Mary's of the Valley in Beaverton, Oregon. She also attended the Holy Child of Jesus on Sandy Blvd., Portland Oregon, and was at Mt. Angel Academy for 1 year.

June and Fred were cousins by marriage.
June passed away of natural causes at the Prineville Ochchoco Village at the age of 93. She was not in pain or discomfort at the time of her passing. It was a peaceful passing. Her sister Carroll obtained her ashes to have them interned in their family plot. At this time I do not know where that plot is located.
