Jim was a log truck owner and operator employeed in Tillamook Oregon for many years. The marriage to June ended in divorce. Jim re-married Lavetta ????? The marriage ended in divorce after a short and violent time frame. Jim took the three children and moved to Dallas, Oregon. He continued to drive log truck until his alcoholism took control of his life and he could drive no more. His children all left home at an early age and Jim move to his mother's home in Falls City Oregon. Just before his mother died she told him he could live in her home as long as he needed, but she willed the house to Jim's sister Edith Kris. Unfortunately, Edith sold the home and Jim had nowhere to go. He was living alone in an abandoned and condemmed apartment building in Falls City when he caught pneumonia and died.
