Young Allen witnessed a deed for John and Elizabeth Hayes in Lunenburg Co., VA, in 1761, and a few weeks later, Young purchased land from Reynold Allen in Johnston (later Wake) Co., N.C. the land purchased by Young was near the Granville Co line and less thatn 20 miles from the land his father owned in Granville Co. in 1762.
