Harrison was born near Racine, Wis., November 16, 1868 and passed away at the home of his brother Bert Harrison, November 4, 1943 at the age of 74 years, 11 mo., 16 days. He came to Nebraska with his parents in the fall of 1873 and they located in Sheridan twp. He grew to manhood at that place and farmed for several years. In 1905 he and his mother moved to Verona where he spent four years in the implement and hardware business. He then returned to the farm for a short period. From 1911 to 1923 he made his home with his nephew Willis Hall and after that spent two years with his nephew John Harrison. For a time he made his home with his brother Bert until in 1925 he went to live with his sister Mrs. A. W. Hall with whom he made his home until her death in 1942. The past year he has been with his brother Bert. Mr. Harrison joined the Emmanuel Evangelical church and on moving to Clay Center transferred his membership to the Methodist church. His friends were numbered by his acquaintances as he was always wanting to help all those around him and never tired of doing for others. Seven brothers and one sister preceded him in death and two brothers Bert and Will Harrison are left to mourn his passing. He is also survived by a number of neices and nephews and a host of friends. * * * * * * * * * * * CARD OF THANKS To the many friends and neighbors who assisted us at the passing of our dear brother and uncle. To those who gave of their kind words and sympathy, for the beautiful floral offerings we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude. Bert Harrison Will Harrison Neices and nephews.
