Tante Zus woonde in een huis aan de Poolseweg (gen. Maczekstraat) met haar man Piet die groothandelaar was in leer. Na de dood van Piet verkaste zij naar Zuiderhout in Teteringen, waar ze een kamer had. Ze was een zeer vroom en godsvruchtig mens, in vroeger tijden zou men gezegd hebben: een kwezelke. Ze droeg altijd dure, sjieke kleren. Mijn moeder had regelmatig contact met haar, ik heb haar niet echt gekend.
