Cornelia de Mos is geboren op 09-10-1836 (akte 1606, aangever is haar vader's broer Albert DE MOS, oom, 40 jaren, winkelier). Cornelia is gehuwd op 21-01-1857 (oud 20 jr., akte 28) en overleden op 09-01-1920 (oud 83 jaar, akte 140).
In haar huwelijksakte uit 1857 wordt vermeld dat haar vader al is overleden (Dirk Mos 1812, ovl. 1847) en verklaart Jobje Kuyper, de moeder van de bruid, onterecht dat in Cornelia's geboorteakte abusievelijk als familienaam "DE MOS" staat.

ECHTER: Als aangever in haar geboorteakte 1606 staat o.a. "ALBERT DE MOS, oud 40 jr., oom van het kind". Dit is dan "AALBERT DE MOS", geb. 06-10-1796, gehuwd 30-07-1817 (akte 89) met Jaapje Roeleveld, en ovl. 31-08-1879 (akte 2021).
In beide aktes heet hij "AALBERT DE MOS", zoon van "MAARTE DE MOS".
Ook bij de andere kinderen van MAARTE DE MOS komt het regelmatig voor dat zij in de ene akte "MOS" heten en in de andere of bij hun kinderen weer "DE MOS".
KORTOM: Cornelia's moeder heeft foutief de familienaam laten veranderen in "Mos".
