Notes about Maarten (Leendertse) de Mos

Maarten Leendertse de Mos (geb. 18-08-1771 te Scheveningen, overl. 10-10-1844 te Scheveningen). Hij huwt op 07-08-1791 (oud 19 jr.) Pieternella Jacobsdr. den Heijer (oud 19 jr.). Pieternella den Heijer overlijdt op 08-08-1832 aan cholera, nadat een paar dagen daarvoor ook al haar dochters Gerritje op 4 augustus en Marijtje op 5 augustus 1832 aan de cholera waren bezweken.
Maarten Leendertse de Mos wordt in de overlijdensaktenr. 1472 van Pieternella den Heijer en in zijn eigen overlijdensaktenr. 1383 "MAARTEN MOS" genoemd. In de overlijdensaktenr. 167 van 20-01-1876 van hun oudste zoon Leendert (Maartens) de Mos, wordt diens vader "MAARTE DE MOS" genoemd. In Pieternella's overlijdensakte 1472 heet haar vader Jacob den Heijer en haar moeder Marijtje PRONK. In sommige genealogiën wordt haar moeder foutief "Maria Dirkse OVERDUIJN" genoemd.

Wordt Maarten de Mos (1771) soms ook "Maarte" en soms ook "MOS" genoemd, van zijn 11 kinderen krijgen er 7 de familienaam "DE MOS" en 4 heten er "MOS". Ook bij deze kinderen vindt er willekeur plaats: van Leendert de Mos (1791) heten er 2 "DE MOS" + 6 "MOS", van Jacob de Mos (1793) heten er 6 "DE MOS" + 3 "MOS", van Aalbert de Mos (1796) heten er 4 "DE MOS" + 9 "MOS", van Pieter Mos (1803) heten alle 12 zijn kinderen "MOS", van Kornelis de Mos (1805) heten er 3 "DE MOS" + 3 "MOS", van Maarte Mos (1806) heten alle 5 zijn kinderen "MOS" en van Dirk Mos (1812) heten ook alle 4 kinderen "MOS".

NB. Soms wordt Pieternella den Heijer's geboortejaar 1775 ipv. 1771 vermeld: dat zou inhouden dat zij op 15-jarige leeftijd al is gehuwd ipv. op 19-jarige leeftijd. Dit hoort echter bij Pieternella (Minnekus) den Heijer, geb. eind 1775, overleden 09-10-1829, oud 53 jr., akte 1125, ongehuwde dochter van Minnekus den Heijer + Adriana Harteveld.
