Injuries in Linn Accident are Fatal|Anton Hake, 46, Dies at Hospital Here|Injuries suffered when struck by a car at Linn about 8 p.m. proved fatal |last night for Anton Tony" Hake, 46 of Highway 54 south. Mr. Hake died at |St. Mary's Hospital shortly after being brought here from Linn. He had been |at Linn attending a church supper and was starting across Highway 50 to his |car when he was struck by an auto driven by Earl A. Monroe, Linn.|Mr. Hake, who was a partner with Ed Brondel in the B and H Garage, Bolivar |and McCarty, Sts. was born in St. Elizabeth, Jan 30, 1937 to Mr. & Mrs. Ben |Hake. He was married Aug. 30, 1937 to Miss Anna Huhman, who died in 1938. On |June 30, 1950, he was married to Miss Florence Distler, who survives. Other |survives are one daughter, Miss Frances Hake of the home; two brothers, |Steve Hake, Meta and Fred Hake, Dixon; five sisters, Mrs. Anna Clark, Dixon; |Mrs. Martha Steinmetz, Wainwright, Mrs. Katie Hillen and Mrs. Dona Brandt, |both of Meta and Mrs. Rose Spencer, Fulton.|He was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church, the men's sodality of |the parish, the Retreat League of our Lady and the Eagles Club.|Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday at a local funeral home. Funeral |services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Peter's Catholic |Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. A. Vogelweid officiating. Burial will be |in the Resurrection Cemetery.
