In the Dorset Poll Book for 1807, it shows that Robert Sherren of Cattistock had freehold land there which he occupied; he also had some freehold land at Broadmayne, the occupier of which was Eli Paul. When the enclosure of Broadmayne took place in 1811 Robert Sherren received 59 acres 1 rood 32 perches. The following year, 1805, Robert was left the token one shilling in his sister Mary's will, but this did not necessarily mean that the two of them had quarrelled. Often it was the case, when a shilling was left, that person had already received a share of the testor's estate some time before, for assorted reasons. The Dorset Poll Book for 1807 shows that Robert Sherren of Cattistock had freehold land there, which he occupied; he also had some freehold land at Broadmayne, the occupier of which was Eli Paul. When the enclosure of Broadmayne took place in 1811, Robert Sherren received 59 acres, 1 rood 32 perches.
