"Anna F. Honken, 97 ... Anna Florence Honken, daughter of Sidney and Anna (Okken) Green, was born in Winnebago County on July 24, 1900. She graduated from Buffalo Center High School in 1918. Anna attended Iowa Falls Teachers College and taught 11 years incountry schools in Winnebago and Kossuth counties.

She was united in marriage lo John Honken on September 24. 1929 at Rockwell. To this union four children were bom. John and Anna lived at their farm until 1986 when they moved to the Park Oaks Home in Winnebago, Minnesota. Anna enjoyedfarm life, leaching Sunday"

Mrs. Sadina Cline and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wubben attended the funeral of Mrs. Cline's nephew, Ernest Honken in Buffalo Center, Monday afternoon. Mr. Honken died Thursday evening from injuries received in a car accident south of Lake MillsWednesday.
