Shirley Beek was born in IA, daughter of Ray and Anna (Ackerman) Beek and lived in Fremont for 35 years. Shirley and Marvin Schaa were united in marriage in April of 1962 at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, IA. ..."

Shirley Beek was born in IA, daughter of Ray and Anna (Ackerman) Beek and lived in Fremont for 35 years. Shirley and Marvin Schaa were united in marriage in April of 1962 at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, IA.

Shirley was a part-owner and operator of Schaa's Lawn Mower Shop with the husband and family. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Mrs. Schaa and her husband built the lighted Christmas tree in Irvington park. She was a devotedwife, mother, and a grandmother with many friends who have wonderful memories. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Marvin J Schaa of Fremont, daughters Diane McClain, Marsha Adamek, and Laurene Schaa all of Fremont, Jacque Kamish of IA, son Kenneth Schaa of Peterson, sons John and Jesse Schaa of Fremont,mother Anna Beek of IA; sisters Ramona Grave and Joanne Wickenhagen both of IA; brothers Arlen Joe Beek of IA; Arthur Charlie Beek of TX, and Robert Beek of Burlingame; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
