Per York Co Gen and Hist Soc "The Quarterly" Vol V No 5, page 6.
"Three unidentified stones sat 20' west and by looking close some letters could be seen. Pictures were taken (by Thurlo V. Byers ). Once processed they proved to be thoseof David Byers, Sarah (Sleven-Carson)Byers and Margaret (Carson) Byers. This took place on 20 Apr 1993 at 11:20 am.
The above has been proven to be not entirely accurate - Mr. Thurlo Byers has been accused of playing a hoax.
From Kinnexions.com (Steve Lawson) who got the information from Deanna Byers Thomas and the web site of Ken Crouse (Jan 2000) the information is that David was not born in Ireland in 1721 but in PA in 1725.
