Turner, Aug. 18.--Mrs Elizabeth True, 93 years old, Turner's oldest citizen died at her home this morning. She had been in failing health for two months. She was born on Perkins Ridge, Auburn, July 24. 1832, the daughter of Isaac and Betsey Long Ellis. While a young girl she moved to Turner with her parents. She married Horace True, 72 years ago and went to live in the house at Turner in which her death occurred. She had always lived in that house since her marriage. Her brother, George Ellis, who is the oldest man in Turner has lived with her for sometime. He is 91 years old. She was a member of the Congregational Church and a very ardent worker for it. ; She was formerly a member of the Grange but in later years did not keep up her membership on account of declining health. Her husband died about ten years ago. She leaves beside her brother, five daughters, Mrs. Clara A. T. Moody of Auburn; Mrs. Persis Butler, Mrs. Charles Emerson, Miss Annie True and Mrs. John Hinkley all of Turner. She also leaves nine grandchildren, HoraceT. Moody of Lowell, Mrs. Henrietta Hopkins of Greenfield, N.H., and Ralph Emerson, Mrs. Donald Prince, Mr. Philip Emerson, Percival True Hinkley, Edward Hinkley, Paul Hinkley and Rebecca Hinkley all of Turner; and four great-grandchildren, David and Dona Hopkins of Greenfield, N.H., and Horace True Moody, Jr. and William Francis Moody of Lowell, Mass
