'Uncle Fritz was a very talented person, musically and artistically. I have a coffee table, handmade by him, with a mosaic design in the top made of various shades of woods. There is a table just like mine in the museum in Edgerton,Alberta, which was where Uncle Fritz settled. He has on son still living, Bill Alwood, who lives in Red Deer, Alberta. At Esther Alwood's house in Edgerton, there is a violin hanging on the wall. Uncle Fritz made it by hand and playedit in the local band. I think he was fascinating. I wish I had known him, but I never got to meet him.
I don't think any more was heard of Fritz Wrought after the Alwoods left his land. ...' <>
