"Died-Levi S. Alwood at the residence of Mr. Geo. L. Wilson, near Cooney, Ohio on July 10th, 1897. Aged 70 years, 8 months and 28 days. The deceased was the father of 10 children of whom 7 survive. He was converted and joined the M. E. church, South, in 1887, of which he remained a consistant member until called home.
