    Clem Hake, 90, Eugene, died Friday at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility, Jefferson City. He was born Sept. 14, 1907, in Marys Home, a son of Herman and Sophie Evers Hake. He was married May 25, 1936, in Marys Home, to Augusta Berendzen, who survives at the home.

    He lived on a farm all his life and worked in construction. He was a prison guard for 10 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of Our Lady of theSnows Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is also survived by one sister, Martha Berendzen, Marys Home.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church. The Rev. William Korte will officiate. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, with rosaries at 3 and 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Marys Home Senior Citizens.
