    " 30 jaar lang heeft haar leven zich afgespeeld op de boerderij aan de Roelagerweg te Laudermarke. Daar zorgden zij voor hun gezin met 5 zonen en 1 dochter en hun gemengd bedrijf" Engelina was een opgewekte vrouw, zacht van karakter, die zichzelf wegcijferde voor haar gezin. Haar leven werd gevoed door een diep geloof en grote verering voor Maria. Dat gaf haar ook de kracht het verlies van haar zoontje Kees en later van haar man Herman te verwerken."
