Frederike Beuk raakte in april 2011 vermist vanuit een privé-kliniek in Epe. Familieleden zette een zoekactie op, en schakelde diverse media in, waaronder het SBS6 televisieprogramma Hart van Nederland. Op 6 Mei 2011 werd het lichaam van Frederike Beuk gevonden.

De schoonmoeder van Frederike (Maria Cornelia Magdalena Beuk) was tevens een 4e graads nicht, zowel in mannelijke als in vrouwelijke lijn.

Daarbij is onomstotelijk komen vast te staan dat het gaat om de 70-jarige Frederike Beuk die sinds 23 april werd vermist. Mevrouw Beuk was voor het laatste gezien op vrijdagavond 22 april. Er is geen sprake van een misdrijf.
